Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Norin, Swift Survivalist, turning combat into a continuous value engine. When creatures you control become blocked, Norin exiles them and allows you to recast them from exile in the same turn. This mechanic repeatedly triggers enter-the-battlefield burn effects like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Agate Instigator, as well as 'cast from exile' paradox payoffs like Flaming Tyrannosaurus and Keeper of Secrets. Cards like Invasion Plans force opponents into blocking, ensuring your triggers happen reliably every turn. The deck is backed by red redirection and countermagic such as Untimely Malfunction, Return the Favor, Redirect Lightning, and Tibalt's Trickery to protect key permanents. Finishers like Fiery Emancipation, Terror of the Peaks, and Mob Rule close out games around Turn 8 through overwhelming direct damage and stolen combat swings.
