Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros midrange strategy led by Quintorius, History Chaser. It converts graveyard-leaving triggers—generated via rummaging, self-exile mechanics, and recursion—into an overwhelming board of 3/2 Spirit tokens. The early turns focus on developing mana velocity through artifacts and establishing discard outlets like Currency Converter and Containment Construct. Quintorius enters on Turn 4 to immediately generate card advantage and token pressure. In the mid-game, the deck compounds board presence using token doublers like Anointed Procession and anthem effects like Warleader's Call. It closes the game between Turns 6 and 8 by turning Spirits into lethal attackers through Quintorius's double-strike loyalty ability, Shared Animosity, or Akroma's Will. A strong defensive suite featuring Teferi's Protection and Flawless Maneuver insulates the board against opposing wipes.
