Deck overview

This deck utilizes Zenos yae Galvus // Shinryu, Transcendent Rival to bypass the traditional multiplayer Commander arithmetic. By transforming Zenos into Shinryu, Transcendent Rival, the deck links its victory condition to the elimination of a single target opponent via the 'Burning Chains' ability. The supporting 99 is densely packed with low-cost Phyrexian infect creatures, proliferate triggers, and efficient mono-black removal. Rather than having to deal 120 regular damage or 30 total poison counters across three opponents, the strategy aggressively funnels all poison counters and commander combat damage into the chosen target. Powerful attrition cards such as Grave Pact, Mindslicer, and Oppression clear blockers and strip counterplay, while pump spells like Hatred and Tainted Strike enable sudden lethal bursts. The deck functions as a fast, highly focused aggro-combo engine that converts single-target elimination directly into an immediate match win.
