Deck overview

This Rakdos deck centers on Witch-king, Sky Scourge and a dense core of nine Nazgûl to overwhelm opponents with scaling combat threats and explosive impulse card advantage. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through artifacts like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and Talisman of Indulgence while deploying early Ring-tempting pieces such as Call of the Ring and Nazgûl. Each Ring tempt trigger places +1/+1 counters on all Wraiths, quickly building a formidable board of deathtouch attackers. Once the seven-mana commander enters play, declaring an attack exiles the top cards of the library equal to total attacking Wraith power, providing an immediate surge of eight to twelve playable cards. The deck converts this massive card advantage into game-ending pressure using big mana from Neheb, the Eternal or Cabal Coffers, burn from Sauron, the Lidless Eye, and mass reanimation via Living Death, while cheap redirect spells and death-triggers shield the board.
