Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Elenda, the Dusk Rose to run an aristocrats and life-drain strategy. The game plan builds around growing Elenda through incidental creature deaths, converting her into a wide board of lifelink Vampire tokens, and draining the table using aristocrat staples like Blood Artist, Vein Ripper, and Mirkwood Bats. Strong token multipliers like Teysa Karlov and combat anthems like Coat of Arms accelerate the damage clock, while Grave Pact systematically starves opposing creature strategies. For instant finishes, the deck packs the infinite life-drain combo of Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, backed by Bolas's Citadel for explosive turns. Defensive options like Grand Abolisher and Flawless Maneuver safeguard key plays against disruption.
