Deck overview

This Boros aggressive deck leverages Aurelia, the Warleader to double the impact of attack triggers, token generation, and combat damage. The primary game plan establishes efficient token-generating creatures like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, and Hanweir Garrison during the first three turns. On Turn 5, casting Aurelia triggers an immediate extra combat phase, doubling attack-triggered tokens and scaling board power dramatically. Damage doublers and anthem effects such as Blade Historian, Cathars' Crusade, and Akroma's Will turn wide boards into table-ending damage bursts. The deck features reliable combat-based card draw through Firemane Commando and Chivalric Alliance, but remains vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and heavy stax due to a lack of stack interaction and nonland tutors.
