Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal deck commanded by Gisa, the Hellraiser. The deck leverages Gisa's ward protection, tribal anthem, and menace-granting ability, converting low-cost interaction into board presence via her crime trigger. By casting targeted removal spells and activating abilities targeting opponents or their graveyards, the deck continuously generates 3/3 menace Zombie Rogues. In addition to combat dominance through lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief, the deck incorporates aristocrat life drain via Blood Artist, Plague Belcher, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Mirkwood Bats, culminating in burst finishes with Gray Merchant of Asphodel or Army of the Damned. The deck balances offensive swarm potential with consistent spot removal, though it relies heavily on maintaining a creature board presence and lacks tools to counter mass exile effects.
