Deck overview

This deck leverages Nissa, Leyline Tamer as a command-zone polymorph engine. By restricting the 99 to exactly nine high-impact creatures, every initial landfall trigger guarantees an overwhelming creature drop straight onto the battlefield alongside a free card draw. A hyper-dense 2-mana artifact ramp package ensures the 7-mana commander is cast ahead of curve on Turn 5. Supported by 15 fetchlands and panoramas, Nissa can trigger on opposing turns to rapidly flood the board with titans such as Hoarding Broodlord, Slash, Reptile Rampager, and Armaggon, Future Shark. The deck finishes games through massive combat swings supplemented by blink loops with Thassa, Deep-Dwelling and Don & Leo, Problem Solvers, re-triggering Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Slash, Reptile Rampager's burn triggers.
