Commander: Kona, Rescue Beastie

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kona, Rescue Beastie helms a mono-green "cheat into play" strategy that exploits her survival trigger to put huge permanents from hand onto the battlefield each turn. The deck is built around a dense ramp package of mana dorks, land search, and tap outlets (Springleaf Drum, Relic of Legends) to ensure Kona is tapped every turn, enabling a relentless stream of game-ending threats like Blightsteel Colossus, Emrakul, the Promised End, and Craterhoof Behemoth. It also contains an infinite-mana combo with Earthcraft and Staff of Domination to draw the deck and deploy a lethal Craterhoof Behemoth. With a robust tutor suite and powerful draw engines, the deck is consistent but vulnerable to stack-based interaction due to its lack of counterspells.
