Format: Commander

Commander: Hylda of the Icy Crown

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Hylda of the Icy Crown is the engine, not a hidden commander: the deck builds around her single face, using cheap tap spells and tap creatures to repeatedly tap opposing creatures. Each tap can become a 4/4 token, a team pump, or Scry 2/draw, so the deck controls the board while generating card advantage. The endgame is either an Opposition lock that taps down opposing permanents or an Intruder Alarm plus Ashnod's Altar loop that creates an arbitrarily large army. Sharae and Teferi support the plan, and a protection suite of free counters, Teferi's Protection, and Lightning Greaves keeps Hylda online long enough to finish.
