Vampire by user4635478

Format: Commander

Commander: Strefan, Maurer Progenitor

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Strefan, Maurer Progenitor leads an aggressive Rakdos Vampire deck that turns combat damage into Blood tokens and then into free, indestructible Vampire attacks. The primary plan is to curve Vampires, generate Blood tokens with Anje, Glass-Cast Heart, and Strefan's end-step trigger, then cheat huge fliers like Necropolis Regent and Defiant Bloodlord into play for lethal swings. Secondary paths are drain via Blood Artist, Sanctum Seeker, Malakir Bloodwitch, and artifact synergies with Krark-Clan Ironworks and Ghirapur Aether Grid. Anje, Maid of Dishonor acts as a pseudo-hidden commander by providing Blood generation and a sacrifice outlet, but there is no true second commander.
