Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Voltron and combat-focused aggro strategy commanded by Wolverine, Best There Is. The game plan revolves around exploiting Wolverine's innate damage-doubling ability to quickly eliminate opponents via 21 commander damage. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration with 1-drop mana dorks and rocks, paving the way for a turn 2 or 3 commander deployment. On turn 4, the deck equips Wolverine with high-impact equipment such as Tenza, Godo's Maul or Brotherhood Regalia and casts efficient fight spells like Ram Through and Ancient Animus to trigger end-step +1/+1 counters. By dealing doubled damage in combat, Wolverine presents a lethal two-hit clock against each opponent. The deck protects its primary threat using a dense suite of instant-speed hexproof and indestructible spells. While Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Chandra's Ignition offer multi-target lethality, standard execution eliminates opponents sequentially across turns 5 through 7.
