Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Gruul deck helmed by Hansk, Slayer Zealot is a damage-based control deck that leverages the commander's ability to create Zombie tokens for opponents. The primary game plan is to deploy punishing enchantments like Repercussion, Burning Sands, and Vicious Shadows, then wipe the board with numerous damage-based sweepers (e.g., Blasphemous Act, Starstorm). The Zombies fuel card draw via Hansk and death triggers, while key creatures like Toralf, God of Fury and Brash Taunter amplify damage. Wins are achieved through massive damage combos (Repercussion + sweeper) or incremental value.
