This Lathril, Blade of the Elves deck is a Golgari Elf tribal build that wins through a combination of go-wide combat and the commander's activated drain ability. The primary plan is to deploy a critical mass of Elves, generate tokens via Lathril's combat damage triggers, then either overwhelm opponents with pumped trampling creatures (Overwhelming Stampede, Coat of Arms) or activate Lathril's tap ability to drain each opponent for 10 life repeatedly. The deck also includes a fragile two-card combo - Lathril, Blade of the Elves + Illusionist's Bracers - that can double the drain activation, but the lack of tutors makes it unreliable.
