Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros deck executes an aggressive Dwarf typal and Equipment strategy led by Thorin Oakenshield. Early turns focus on establishing an enduring story by deploying low-cost artifacts and legendary Dwarves, unlocking passive ward protection for the board. From there, the deck amplifies its combat threat using equip cost reducers like Bruenor Battlehammer and dynamic stat boosters such as Colossus Hammer and Blackblade Reforged. Win conditions center on explosive combat steps facilitated by damage doublers like Furnace of Rath, combat untap triggers from Desert Were-Worm, and overrun effects like Akroma's Will to defeat opponents through heavy trample and commander damage.
