Commander: Saruman, the White Hand

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Saruman, the White Hand is the amass engine of a Grixis spells-matter deck. Every noncreature spell grows a single Orc Army token while spellslinger payoffs such as Guttersnipe, Veyran, Voice of Duality, and Kess, Dissident Mage generate value. The primary plan is to build one huge Army, protect it, and finish with a damage-magnified Chandra's Ignition, ideally tripled by Isengard Unleashed. A secondary path uses Assault on Osgiliath for haste and double-strike attacks, and a fallback spells-matter damage plan can close the game if the Army is removed. There is no hidden commander; Kess and Veyran are support engines, not alternate generals. The deck is a mid-speed combo-aggro hybrid that wins through incremental amass and one big turn.
