Commander: Círdan the Shipwright

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Simic deck pilots a value-oriented "vote-into-battle" strategy helmed by Cirdan the Shipwright. The primary game plan is to ramp aggressively, deploy Cirdan early, and use his secret-council trigger to draw cards and, when you receive no votes, put a permanent directly onto the battlefield. The deck leans heavily on vote-manipulation cards like Illusion of Choice to guarantee that outcome, cheating out enormous threats such as Blightsteel Colossus, Omniscience, or Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant. A dense clone package (Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, Spark Double, Phyrexian Metamorph, etc.) provides redundancy and the ability to copy the best creatures on the table. Secondary cheat effects like Show and Tell, Eureka, and Oath of Druids offer alternative paths to deploy high-CMC bombs. The deck wins through combat damage - infect from Blightsteel, annihilator from Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, or overwhelming trample from Ghalta and Koma, Cosmos Serpent - supported by card-draw engines such as Consecrated Sphinx and Mystic Remora.
