Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Grixis tempo strategy led by Goro-Goro and Satoru. The primary plan accelerates into the commander by Turn 3 and immediately begins triggering its ability on Turn 4 using cheap, evasive, and self-recurring haste creatures like Bloodghast, Nether Traitor, and Phoenix Chick. Each creature that enters and deals combat damage creates a 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit token, quickly building a formidable aerial army. The deck supports this aggressive core with sacrifice-based card draw, incidental token makers like Tormod, the Desecrator, and late-game reanimation via Olivia, Crimson Bride. While the deck exerts rapid combat pressure and recovers well from targeted removal thanks to graveyard recursion, it has limited stack interaction and dedicated protection spells. This makes it vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and faster combo decks.
