Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Abzan lands and graveyard powerhouse commanded by The Necrobloom. The strategy leverages a dense 49-land base, aggressive self-mill, and low-cost ramp to quickly establish dominant board presence. Once The Necrobloom enters on Turn 4, every land card in the graveyard gains dredge 2, converting draw steps into fuel for self-mill and guaranteeing land drops. The deck rapidly reaches seven uniquely named lands to trigger Field of the Dead token creation on both the commander and the original land. On Turn 5, explosive mass-recursion spells such as Splendid Reclamation, Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, or Aftermath Analyst return dozens of lands at once. This produces overwhelming token armies via Scute Swarm and Zombie triggers, while recurring Strip Mine and Glacial Chasm locks opponents out of contention. The deck smoothly transitions this massive resource lead into a decisive combat finish on Turn 6.
