Hobbit - Ferocity by user1463158

Commander: The Chief Warg

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Golgari "Ferocious" midrange deck built around The Chief Warg, whose attack trigger converts controlling a 4+ power creature into a repeatable draw engine. The plan is honest, fair beatdown: ramp early with land-search spells, deploy high-power Wolves, Bears, and Spiders, turn on Ferocious, add trample, and grind the table down while generating incidental value from Wolf tokens, Amass Goblins, and sacrifice-for-cards loops. Beorn the Fierce and Radagast of Rhosgobel anchor the Bear subtheme, Chief Warg's Company supplies a Wolf every upkeep, and Tom, Bert, and William turn expendable bodies into cards. There are no infinite combos in the 99; the deck wins through sustained combat pressure, light recursion, and the occasional mass-theft swing from Supper for Spiders. It is a classic midrange deck that rewards careful sequencing and punishes opponents who skimp on removal.
