Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Green Stompy and Dinosaur strategy focused on rapidly deploying oversized, cost-efficient creatures to reduce the casting cost of Ghalta, Primal Hunger down to just {G}{G}. Early mana ramp and low-mana, high-power beaters like Pugnacious Hammerskull and Regal Imperiosaur establish a massive board presence by Turn 3. Ghalta consistently enters on Turn 4, triggering power-based draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond to keep the hand full. Critical onset occurs on Turn 5, threatening massive trample damage that closes the game by Turn 7 with finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Surrak and Goreclaw. While vulnerable to mass removal, the deck features high redundancy and burst draw spells like Last March of the Ents and Rishkar's Expertise to rebuild quickly.
