Deck overview

This is a Naya (RGW) lands-matter value deck helmed by Toph, the First Metalbender, whose unique ability turns nontoken artifacts into lands and provides a repeatable end-step earthbend trigger. The core strategy revolves around animating lands via earthbend effects (which turn lands into 0/0 creatures with +1/+1 counters that return to the battlefield tapped when they die), then leveraging landfall triggers and +1/+1 counter synergies to build an overwhelming board presence. The deck runs a dense package of landfall payoffs including Omnath, Locus of Rage, Tireless Tracker, and Retreat to Emeria, alongside a Lessons subtheme that provides utility and recursion. The primary win condition is combat damage through massive creature lands and token swarms, with Omnath, Locus of Rage providing reach through its death-trigger damage. The deck is a midrange value engine that seeks to grind out incremental advantage rather than assemble a fast combo, making it resilient to disruption but slow to close out games.
