Dwarven Machinations by user1661210

Format: Commander

Commander: Magda, Brazen Outlaw

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Mono-Red Dwarf/Treasure engine deck built to exploit Magda, Brazen Outlaw from top to bottom. The core plan is to play cheap Dwarves, tap them through mana outlets like Paradise Mantle and Springleaf Drum to bank Treasures, then cash five Treasures with Magda's command-zone ability to put Dragons and high-impact artifacts directly onto the battlefield. Maskwood Nexus is the linchpin: it makes every creature both a Dwarf and a Dragon, so every tap produces a Treasure, every attacker fuels Utvara Hellkite, and every Magda activation pours another engine onto the board. The typical kill is a combined-arms turn of huge Dragon attacks, Terror of the Peaks ETB damage, and Portal to Phyrexia disruption, with Burn at the Stake as an alternate tap-out finisher. Magda, the Hoardmaster serves as a mini-companion in the 99, generating Treasures through crimes and converting them into hasty Dragon tokens.
