Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Big Mana Stompy build led by partner commanders Gilanra, Caller of Wirewood and Alena, Kessig Trapper. The strategy focuses on using Gilanra on turn 3 to accelerate into Alena on turn 4, followed by large 6-power beaters on turn 5. When Gilanra pays for high-mana spells, she draws cards, while Alena taps for massive bursts of red mana based on the greatest power among newly entered creatures. This mana surge enables deploying multiple gigantic creatures in a single turn. The deck finishes games through combat damage supported by trample, extra combat steps, and damage-multiplying triggers like Hydra Omnivore and Desert Were-Worm. While the deck possesses immense battlefield presence and explosive mana production, it relies heavily on natural draws and sorcery-speed creature effects. It remains vulnerable to early board sweepers and fast combo decks that operate before its high-cost threats come online.
