Format: Commander

Commander: Strefan, Maurer Progenitor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Strefan, Maurer Progenitor leads a Rakdos Vampire swarm built around Blood tokens. The primary plan is to curve into Strefan, attack to generate Blood, then use his trigger to cheat expensive Vampires into combat for free. Drains from Sanctum Seeker, Malakir Bloodwitch, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz turn wide attacks into global life loss; a secondary burst uses Blood Tribute with Bloodletter to remove one player, and Glass-Cast Heart can close out long games. There is no hidden commander: Strefan is the only engine, while Olivia, Crimson Bride and Kamber are supporting legends. The deck is a midrange aggro-combo list that wants to win through repeated draining combat rather than a single combo.
