Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Bartolomé del Presidio as a dedicated zero-mana sacrifice outlet in the command zone, pairing graveyard reanimation with classic aristocrat drain engines. The primary strategy mills key creatures into the graveyard and brings them back to trigger lethal loops. Anchors like Boonweaver Giant and Sun Titan chain with return-on-death Auras such as Kaya's Ghostform or Angelic Renewal to generate infinite enter-the-battlefield and death triggers. These loops fuel drain cards like Zulaport Cutthroat, Marionette Apprentice, and Bastion of Remembrance to kill the table in a single turn. The deck features functional card flow through self-mill, resilient flashback reanimation, and modular removal. While vulnerable to timely graveyard hate and lacking fast mana, it presents a reliable, synergistic midgame combo clock.
