Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black attrition and Zombie-tribal control strategy helmed by Liliana, Heretical Healer. The primary game plan focuses on constricting table resources through symmetrical discard effects, sacrifice edicts, and planeswalker loyalty abilities. By pairing continuous hand destruction from cards like Bottomless Pit and Court of Ambition with asymmetric payoffs like Waste Not and Tinybones, Trinket Thief, the deck forces opponents into topdeck mode while steadily advancing its own board. Once the game is locked down, victory is achieved by deploying a lethal Zombie army empowered by lords like Death Baron and Lord of the Undead, or through recurring devastating drain triggers via Gray Merchant of Asphodel. While lacking instant-speed stack interaction, the deck compensates with overwhelming resource denial and resilient graveyard engines.
