Deck overview

This is a pure mono-blue spellslinger deck helmed by Talrand, Sky Summoner. The core strategy is to generate a flying army of 2/2 Drake tokens by casting instants and sorceries, then overwhelm opponents through incremental combat damage. The deck is built around a dense package of cheap cantrips, card draw, and bounce spells, with a strong counterspell suite serving as primary interaction. There are no infinite combos, no fast mana, and no tutors-the win condition is entirely dependent on the Drake tokens. The deck can also finish with Candlekeep Inspiration turning the board into massive threats, or Jace, Architect of Thought's ultimate. The game plan is highly linear: control the board, stick Talrand, and value-engineer a slow, grinding victory.
