Deck overview

This deck harnesses Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph to transform minor 1-damage instances into lethal 3-damage bursts. By combining low-cost red sweepers like End the Festivities and Blazing Volley with Ghyrson's trigger, the deck systematically wipes opposing boards of creatures with three or less toughness while chipping down life totals. A secondary engine generates 1/1 creature tokens via Third Path Iconoclast, Young Pyromancer, and Saheeli, Sublime Artificer, weaponizing them through Cavalcade of Calamity, Raid Bombardment, and Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive. Card advantage engines such as Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, and Archmage Emeritus ensure a full hand to maintain velocity. Efficient blue countermagic protects the commander from removal while maintaining pressure, closing games out reliably through noncombat burn and unblockable swarms.
