Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger and Wizard tribal burn strategy commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The game plan revolves around generating a swarm of 0/1 Wizard tokens that deal noncombat damage to all opponents whenever noncreature spells are cast. Once four Wizards are assembled, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all Wizard damage. Supported by damage multipliers like Harmonic Prodigy, Collective Inferno, and City on Fire, the deck turns low-cost rituals, cantrips, and removal into devastating table-wide burn. A dense suite of cost-effective interaction—including free staples like Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick—protects key pieces and disrupts opponent development. While the deck lacks unconditional tutor density and fragile 0/1 tokens must survive board sweepers, its explosive mana rituals and redundant pingers allow it to rapidly storm off and eliminate all three opponents simultaneously by Turn 6.
