Deck overview

This deck is a Simic midrange strategy that maximizes value from spells with {X} in their mana costs. Led by Zimone, Infinite Analyst, the deck accelerates its game plan by converting +1/+1 counters on the commander into substantial colorless mana discounts on subsequent {X} spells. Early turns focus on mana ramp and deploying Zimone. Once the engine is online, the deck casts scalable creatures like Primordial Hydra, Goldvein Hydra, and Primo, the Unbounded, while refilling its hand with massive draw spells such as Pull from Tomorrow and Hydroid Krasis. Counter-enhancers like Kami of Whispered Hopes and Unbound Flourishing amplify this growth exponentially. The deck closes out games by granting large creatures trample or evasion via Nev, the Practical Dean and Tanazir Quandrix, overwhelming the table through lethal combat damage over successive attack steps.
