angels, demons, dragons, oh my! by Macnbacon

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kaalia of the Vast is a single-faced commander; the deck is built to use her attack trigger to cheat Angels, Demons, and Dragons into play. The 99 contains two hidden engines: Isshin, Two Heavens as One doubles every Kaalia attack trigger, while Kaalia, Zenith Seeker refills the hand with all three creature types. The primary path is aggressive combat, using Master of Cruelties to remove one opponent, then Aurelia, Gisela, and Neriv to multiply attacks and damage. Secondary paths include a Liliana's Contract alternate win and an Angel-heavy reanimator package. The deck can goldfish quickly when Isshin plus a payoff appears, but the mana base and thin tutor count keep it firmly in mid-speed Commander territory.
