Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Jund combo and attrition list commanded by Winter, Misanthropic Guide. It pairs explosive early mana acceleration with a dense tutor and reanimation network. The primary game plan seeks to quickly assemble and resolve the compact two-card infinite combo of Witherbloom Apprentice and Chain of Smog, draining all three opponents simultaneously on Turn 3. When pivoting to a midrange or stax plan, the deck leverages Winter, Misanthropic Guide alongside Chains of Mephistopheles and Orcish Bowmasters to shred opponents' hands while drawing surplus cards. Deep graveyard redundancy via Underworld Breach, Hoarding Broodlord, and low-cost reanimation spells guarantees rapid recovery from opposing interaction. Supported by hyper-efficient stack protection like Veil of Summer and Deflecting Swat, the deck combines the velocity of a turbo combo list with the resilience and disruption of a modern competitive graveyard engine.
