Rivaz (copy)

Format: Commander

Commander: Rivaz of the Claw

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Dragon tribal deck built around Rivaz of the Claw as a hybrid ritual and graveyard-cast engine. The primary plan is to accelerate into five- and six-mana Dragons, grant them haste through Dragon Tempest, Anger, Sneak Attack, or Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded, and bury opponents under a snowballing air force. Utvara Hellkite and Lathliss, Dragon Queen convert attacks into additional Dragons, while Scourge of the Throne and Great Train Heist create extra combat phases that can finish the whole table in a single turn. A deep reanimation package-Living Death, Animate Dead, Reanimate, Patriarch's Bidding, and Rivaz's own graveyard cast-gives the deck strong grind potential. Secondary payoffs include Kokusho, the Evening Star drain loops and Hellkite Tyrant's artifact-count alternate win. This is a mid-power, combat-oriented deck rather than a compact infinite-combo shell.
