Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is an aggressive midrange build centered on Deadpool, Trading Card. The deck combines comic-themed combat beaters, discard synergies, and opportunistic disruption. Deadpool functions as a unique disruptive tool, entering the battlefield to exchange text boxes with an opponent's key threat—neutralizing opposing commander engines while burdening them with a 3-life upkeep penalty. The rest of the 99 supports an aggressive curve featuring discard-value enablers like Containment Construct, Conspiracy Theorist, and Currency Converter alongside heavy hitters like Etali, Primal Storm, Godo, Bandit Warlord, and Rionya, Fire Dancer. Combat is further amplified by equipment packages such as Twin Blades and Vorpal Sword, backed by Anger for immediate haste. In addition to sustained combat damage, the deck can pivot into an instant-speed infinite token combo using Dualcaster Mage and Saw in Half. While the deck features versatile removal and explosive turns, its low land count and lack of tutors make it dependent on natural card draw to assemble its primary win conditions.
