Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir tempo and combat burn strategy led by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. It uses cheap, unblockable creatures on Turn 1 to enable Commander ninjutsu on Turn 2, drawing cards and draining each opponent whenever a Ninja deals combat damage. The list leverages top-deck manipulation like Lim-Dûl's Vault, Brainstorm, and Mystical Tutor to place high mana value cards such as Darksteel Colossus, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, and Temporal Mastery on top of the library, converting single attacks into massive life loss across the table. Additional support from Roaming Throne, Arcane Adaptation, and Satoru Umezawa multiplies triggers and provides alternative cheat avenues for large threats. The deck protects its board using efficient counterspells and bounces while disrupting opposing lines with targeted combat saboteur triggers and creature removal, steadily closing out the game by Turn 6.
