Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Mono-green Bears/counters deck built around Beorn the Fierce. Primary plan is to ramp Beorn out by turn four, convert creatures into Bears each combat, and use the +2/+2 and card draw to churn through the deck. Secondary paths are wide Squirrel tokens via The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and a 6/6 all-creatures beatdown after March of the World Ooze. Beorn is both lord and draw engine; no true hidden commander, but The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl acts as a secondary engine. Finish by turning a large board sideways with trample, assisted by counter-doubling and landfall pumps. The deck is a moderate-speed green value engine that aims to outdraw opponents and overwhelm them with trampling Bears and other creatures.
