Deck overview

This deck leverages Satoru Umezawa as a commander-centric cost-cheating engine in Dimir colors. The game plan opens with low-cost, unblockable creatures such as Changeling Outcast and Slither Blade on early turns. Satoru enters on Turn 3, granting every creature card in hand a ninjutsu cost of {2}{U}{B}. On Turn 4, declaring an unblocked attack allows the pilot to swap the small enabler for massive, game-warping threats like Ulamog's Dreadsire, Vilis, Broker of Blood, or Sire of Stagnation while digging through the library via Satoru's Anticipate trigger. The deck maintains momentum through combat card-draw engines like Coastal Piracy and Bident of Thassa. Win conditions center on scaling combat damage, massive Eldrazi tokens, and asymmetric resource denial from Praetors and Eldrazi. While vulnerable to early removal targeting Satoru or the enabler, redundant evasive threats and high-impact bombs ensure consistent mid-game pressure.
