Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula commands a fast, spell-heavy Grixis combo deck designed to execute efficient game-ending sequences while disrupting opponents. The primary strategy centers on assembling the compact Demonic Consultation and Thassa's Oracle combination, backed by cheap tutors and a suite of free counterspells. Alternatively, the deck can leverage Hullbreaker Horror loops for infinite mana and spell casts, or fuel storm finishes using Ad Nauseam and Tendrils of Agony. Azula provides explosive bursts of red mana and spell duplication whenever she attacks, enabling high-impact combat plays alongside flash enablers. Through dense card draw, robust interaction, and versatile win lines, the deck presents consistent turn-three to turn-four threats.
