Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Midrange strategy led by Denzilore Fatehold, leveraging the scry and surveil mechanics to rapidly grow a wide board of creatures with +1/+1 counters. Early turns focus on deploying cheap evasive creatures and repeatable scry enablers such as Artificer's Assistant, Moonfolk Puzzlemaker, and Retreat to Coralhelm. Thanks to flash, Denzilore enters the battlefield during the end step of Turn 4 without exposing mana on your main phase. On subsequent turns, chaining scry spells and triggers—such as Mystic Speculation or attack triggers—places multiple +1/+1 counters on your entire team. The deck converts card selection into massive combat pressure with flying and unblockable attackers. A low-cost protection suite defends the growing board from opposing removal while simultaneously triggering Denzilore. The deck closes games through decisive aerial strikes by Turn 8.
