Format: Commander

Commander: Strefan, Maurer Progenitor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Strefan is a mono-BR vampire aristocrat/drain hybrid. The primary plan is to generate Blood tokens, use Strefan's attack to cheat in large Vampires, and finish with repeated combat plus global life-loss triggers such as Sanctum Seeker and Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Secondary lines are graveyard recursion through Olivia and Drana, a Blood-token loot/drain value game, and an alternate Glass-Cast Heart finish. There is no true hidden commander; Olivia, Crimson Bride is a strong second engine, not the build-around leader. The deck wins incrementally rather than through a combo, relying on Strefan's end-step trigger to keep producing Blood whenever opponents lose life.
