Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue exponential clone strategy commanded by Council of Reeds. Because the commander waives the legend rule and duplicates itself at combat whenever you cast a noncreature spell, the board grows by powers of two each turn cycle. The deck supports this core engine with 44 noncreature spells, dense low-cost mana rocks, and efficient blue cantrips. Once token copies multiply, legendary mana engines like Relic of Legends and Honor-Worn Shaku generate massive mana surpluses, while kindred draw spells like Kindred Discovery and Distant Melody fully refill the hand. The primary victory route leverages exponential scaling via Heroes' Podium, Banner of Kinship, or Throne of the God-Pharaoh, turning a wide board of Council tokens into overwhelming lethal damage by Turn 7. A robust interaction suite of 15 counterspells, bounce spells, and Cyclonic Rift protects the board while clearing opposing defenses.
