Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Human typal combat deck commanded by Éowyn, Shieldmaiden. Its primary strategy focuses on establishing early Human board presence, ramping into Éowyn on Turn 4, and utilizing her combat trigger to generate two 2/2 red Human Knight tokens with trample and haste each turn while drawing cards once six Humans are assembled. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 6 by dropping explosive anthem and damage multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Cathars' Crusade, or Aragorn, King of Gondor, which makes the swarm unblockable. Defensively, the list runs an imposing suite of hatebears including Drannith Magistrate, Thalia, Heretic Cathar, and Spider-Woman, Stunning Savior to slow opposing development, paired with Grand Abolisher, Boromir, Warden of the Tower, and Spectacular Spider-Man for turn silence and board-wipe protection. Counterspells and exile removal provide flexible disruption while alternative token engines ensure steady recovery.
