Format: Commander

Commander: Kratos, God of War

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-red extra-combat aggro deck helmed by Kratos, God of War. The plan is simple and violent: deploy hasty attackers, stack damage multipliers, and chain extra combat phases until the table is dead. Kratos, God of War blankets the board with haste, swings with double strike, and punishes opponents who leave creatures home via end-step burn equal to their idle army. Primary wins come from multiplied combat damage through City on Fire, Gratuitous Violence, Fiendish Duo, and Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, supported by a dense extra-combat package (Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Combat Celebrant, Bloodthirster, Full Throttle, and others). Backup lines include Heartless Hidetsugu plus any doubler for instant table drain, Purphoros, God of the Forge ETB pings, and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreading commander damage. Light stax (Blood Moon, Winter Moon, Crawlspace) slows fair decks while the red aggro engine closes.
