Commander Mustard by WonTonTon

Commander: Commander Mustard

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Commander Mustard leads a go-wide Boros Soldier token deck. The primary plan is to assemble a critical mass of cheap Soldier tokens, then cast Commander Mustard to give them vigilance, trample, and haste. Each turn, Mustard's {2}{R}{W} ability turns every attacking Soldier into a one-point pinger, letting a wide board race. Assemble the Legion and a suite of token spells provide exponential growth, while anthem creatures and +1/+1 counters make the horde lethal. Removal and combat tricks (Austere Command, Make a Stand) keep the board clear or protect the swing. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built squarely around Mustard, with Assemble the Legion acting as its secondary engine.
