Deck overview

This Abzan Food deck makes and sacrifices Food tokens to buy time, draw cards, and turn life gain into a win. Sam, Loyal Attendant provides a free Food every combat and discounts Food activations; Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit attacks to tempt the Ring and draws cards. The primary path is accumulating a critical mass of Foods and draining all opponents with Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose; combat is the secondary route via Feasting Hobbit, Blossoming Bogbeast, and Nykthos Paragon. Merry and Pippin's partner pair acts as a hidden engine, creating lifelink Soldiers and a haste overrun. The deck is resilient but slow, needing one drain payoff plus about fourteen Foods to close.
