Deck overview

This mono-black Commander deck is led by Ghoulcaller Gisa, focusing on an explosive Zombie tribal and Aristocrats strategy. The primary game plan accelerates into Gisa by Turn 4 using mana rocks, rituals, and cost-reducers like Jet Medallion and Sol Ring. Once operational on Turn 5, Gisa sacrifices high-power creatures or recursive fodder like Gravecrawler to double her army into a horde of 2/2 Zombie tokens. These tokens fuel powerful draw engines (Skullclamp, Undead Augur) and trigger lethal group life drain through Ayara, First of Locthwain, Bastion of Remembrance, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. The deck also packs asymmetric creature suppression via Noxious Ghoul and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, as well as a compact two-card infinite combo in Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. High resilience from mass reanimation spells like Living Death ensures the horde can rebuild quickly after sweepers.
