Deck overview

This Grixis Villain tribal deck is helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, leveraging the connive mechanic to generate card advantage and fill the graveyard. The primary game plan is to deploy a wide board of Villain creatures, boost them with lords like The Squadron Sinister and Titania, Proud Pummeler, and close out games through combat damage supplemented by drain from Doom's land-discard trigger and cards like Cool but Rude. The deck also uses mayhem (casting discarded cards from the graveyard) and other discard synergies to recur threats and generate value. It plays a midrange, value-oriented game, aiming to outpace opponents through repeated connive triggers and token generation.
