Deck overview

This deck is an Esper draw-go control list built entirely around operating at instant speed. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating in the opening turns, deploying flash-based card draw engines like Wavebreak Hippocamp, Slitherwisp, and Alela, Cunning Conqueror, and keeping mana open to respond to opposing threats. The deck controls the board through a deep suite of countermagic, spot removal, combat blowouts like Inkshield and Aetherspouts, and defensive taxes like Ghostly Prison. Once opponents exhaust their resources, Chromium, the Mutable is flashed in at the end of a turn cycle to serve as an uncounterable, evasive finisher with built-in hexproof. Backed by phasing protection such as Clever Concealment, the deck methodically eliminates opponents through commander damage and token swarms while maintaining full control over the stack.
