Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger deck commanded by Veyran, Voice of Duality. The strategy revolves around casting low-mana cantrips and rituals to trigger magecraft and spell-copy abilities multiple times per cast. Veyran acts as a trigger doubler, supercharging token generation from cards like Young Pyromancer, mana generation from Storm-Kiln Artist, and direct damage from pingers like Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription. The deck establishes mana fixing and card flow in the early turns, resolves Veyran and a payoff on Turns 3 to 4, and launches a decisive storm turn on Turn 5. By chaining 1-mana draw spells and rituals, the deck outputs massive amounts of non-combat damage to all three opponents simultaneously, or finishes the game with an overloaded Mizzix's Mastery or a lethal Crackle with Power. Cheap countermagic and protection spells safeguard the combo turn.
